Siafu Tanzania Safari

Safari Overview

This 7-day safari takes you to Tanzania’s most iconic wildlife destinations during one of nature’s greatest spectacles — the Great Migration calving season. Every year between January and March, over 500,000 wildebeest calves are born in the short-grass plains of the Southern Serengeti and Ndutu area. This attracts predators in large numbers, making it the best time to witness dramatic predator-prey encounters alongside newborn wildlife.

Along the way, you’ll also explore Tarangire National Park, famous for elephants and baobabs, and the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where the Big Five can be spotted in one day.

Highlights:

  • Witness the wildebeest calving in Ndutu (Southern Serengeti).

  • See predators in action: lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas.

  • Game drives in Tarangire and Ngorongoro Crater.

  • Scenic landscapes: baobabs, crater highlands, and endless plains.

  • Family-friendly lodges and tented camps close to the action.
