This 7-day family safari takes you through Tanzania’s best national parks on the Northern Circuit: Tarangire, Lake Manyara, the world-famous Serengeti, and the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater. The program is family-friendly, with flexible game drives, kid-friendly lodges, and plenty of time to relax while still experiencing the best of Africa’s wildlife.

📅 Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Pickup at Kilimanjaro Airport.
Transfer to a family lodge in Arusha.
Safari briefing, dinner & overnight.
Day 2: Arusha → Tarangire National Park
Drive to Tarangire (~2–3 hrs).
Game drive through baobab valleys & swamps.
Attractions: Elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes, birdlife.
Overnight at lodge/camp near Tarangire.
Day 3: Tarangire → Lake Manyara
Morning transfer to Lake Manyara.
Game drive with picnic lunch.
Attractions: Tree-climbing lions, hippo pools, flamingos, monkeys, and stunning Rift Valley escarpment views.
Overnight in Karatu.
Day 4: Karatu → Serengeti National Park
Scenic drive through Ngorongoro highlands into Serengeti.
En route game drive across the plains.
Attractions: Wildebeest, zebras, lions, and cheetahs on the hunt.
Overnight in Serengeti camp.
Day 5: Serengeti – Full Day Game Drive
Sunrise game drive followed by picnic lunch.
Attractions: Big cats (lion, leopard, cheetah), elephants, buffalo, giraffes, endless herds of wildebeest.
Family-friendly afternoon rest or short drive.
Overnight in Serengeti camp.
Day 6: Serengeti → Ngorongoro Crater
Morning Serengeti drive.
Afternoon descent into Ngorongoro Crater for game viewing.
Attractions: Big Five, hippos, flamingos, and lush crater floor.
Overnight at lodge on crater rim or Karatu.
Day 7: Karatu → Arusha / Departure
Easy drive back to Arusha (3–4 hrs).
Optional cultural stop at Maasai village or local market.
Drop-off at Kilimanjaro Airport for departure.
