Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Your journey starts in the morning as your guide warmly welcomes you. After a 2-hour scenic drive, you’ll enter Tarangire National Park, a haven for some of Tanzania’s largest elephant populations. As you traverse the park, with the roof down for an unobstructed view, be on the lookout for giraffes, buffaloes, lions, zebras, wildebeests, and an array of antelopes and gazelles. The picturesque landscape, dotted with timeless baobab trees and seasonal marshes, adds to the allure. By afternoon, you’ll retreat to Nimali Tarangire Camp, where a captivating sunset awaits, followed by a relaxed evening by a warm campfire.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park – Karatu

Post a sumptuous breakfast, you’ll dive deeper into the Tarangire. Especially during the dry season, the park buzzes with wildlife activity around the Tarangire River, the area’s sole permanent water source. Post a delightful picnic lunch, you’ll set out for Karatu. En route, enjoy panoramic views of the Masai Plains and Lake Manyara. The day concludes amidst the lush environs of Kitela Lodge, nestled amidst a coffee plantation and serene gardens.

Day 3: Karatu – Ngorongoro Crater – Serengeti National Park

This day promises grandeur as you venture into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, plunging into the Ngorongoro Crater. This wildlife-rich haven offers a chance to spot the “Big Five” in just a few hours. As the day progresses, the expansive plains of the southern Serengeti beckon. Your destination, the elegant Kubu Kubu Tented Lodge in the heart of the Seronera Valley, will serve as your sanctuary for the next three nights.

Day 4 & 5: Serengeti National Park

Dedicate these days to the magical expanse of the Serengeti. Guided by your expert, witness the myriad of wildlife the park houses, from majestic elephants and roaring lions to graceful gazelles. Not to forget, the Serengeti, in tandem with Kenya’s Masai Mara, witnesses the planet’s grandest animal migration.
