Day Itinerary:
Morning (07:00 AM): Depart Arusha for Lake Eyasi region (approx. 4 hrs).
Arrival at Datoga Homestead: Meet your Datoga hosts.
Cultural Activities:
Visit a traditional homestead and learn about Datoga family life.
Observe blacksmithing, where they melt scrap metal and make knives, arrows, and jewelry.
Join in grinding maize with stone tools.
Lunch: Packed lunch or local meal with hosts.
Afternoon (02:30 PM): Visit farmlands and learn about subsistence farming.
Evening (04:00 PM): Drive back to Arusha or overnight at Eyasi if combined with Hadzabe.
