Day-by-Day Itinerary:

Day 1: Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park

Your adventure begins with a brief morning overview, followed by a journey to Lake Manyara National Park. Nestled along the 600 m high Rift Valley Escarpment, this park boasts the alkaline Lake Manyara. Here, vast numbers of flamingos turn the lake a shimmering shade of pink. The park, home to over 400 bird species, offers varied terrains that house monkeys, giraffes, antelopes, and elephants. If luck is on your side, you might catch a glimpse of the tree-climbing Manyara lions. As the day wanes, retreat to the Kirurumu Manyara Lodge for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park

Wake up to a delicious breakfast and set out towards the fertile crater highlands, home to the Iraqw people’s agricultural expanses. The Serengeti, Tanzania’s largest park, presents a mosaic of landscapes, from short grass plains and savannahs to thickets, swamps, and lakes. Witness the intriguing Kopjes rock formations and possibly the famed animal migration, a phenomenon influenced by the seasonal rains. Your evening rest awaits at the Kati Kati Tented Camp.
